  • Upon opening the package and removing the required amount, reseal the bag to avoid direct contact with air so that the remaining product stays friable.
  • Once filled, the product can be consumed on the same day or within three days if stored at positive temperature when with interior chocolate coating. Semi-freddo desserts should be stored at -18 C°.

The Capasanta is one of Croccantino's most extraordinary ranges. It is easy to see that its shape is reminiscent of a Mediterranean scallop and it is prepared hot using special moulds. It is highly requested by restaurants which serve fish based menus. The filling we propose for the Capasanta is a classic lemon cream which satisfies your taste buds after savouring flavours of the sea. The range was invented by Giacomo during a journey to Sardinia, an island of remarkable beauty which leaves an indelible impression on all visitors. From its rugged, wilder areas to the fashionably chic Porto Cervo or Porto Rotondo zones, Sardinia remains one of the most spectacular heavens on this planet. The chocolate covered version can be served much like a receptacle, just top it with some fresh fruit slices. As all Monoporzione products, the Capasanta can be found in restaurants and ice cream parlours; the latter in particular use it to create fruit semifreddo desserts which are then placed on display, conferring a touch of originality.
